Programs

Training and leadership development for hospice and home health teams, from liaisons to the C-suite. Every program is built around your data, your market and your people, and is led by someone who has done the work.

Formats: keynote · half-day workshop · 1–2 day training · 90-day program · ongoing partnership

Administrators to CEOs

For: administrators, executive directors, DONs and new leaders

Strong clinicians get promoted into leadership and are expected to run a business: people, quality, growth and finances. Most are never trained in all four. This program gives them the tools to lead the whole agency, not just one part of it.

What's included

  • The four systems every agency runs on: leadership and people, clinical excellence, growth, and operations and finance

  • The Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX): one clear goal, lead measures, a scoreboard and a weekly cadence of accountability

  • Scorecard review and a one-page 90-day plan for each leader

  • Optional monthly coaching to keep plans moving

Formats: keynote, half-day or full-day workshop, 90-day leadership program

The Power of Yes: Open Access Hospice

For: clinical leaders, medical directors, IDG teams and intake

Patients who need hospice are often turned away or told to "call us when treatment is done," and families lose time they can't get back. This workshop helps teams find a path to yes when yes is right for the patient.

What's included

  • What the hospice benefit allows, and where the limits are

  • How to evaluate each treatment for purpose, benefit, burden and fit with the plan of care

  • The "let's explore how" conversation with referral sources

  • "Can We Say Yes?" case lab using your own referrals

  • A draft open access decision pathway for your team

Formats: 2-hour session, half-day workshop, or paired with Administrators to CEOs as a leadership day

Hospice Growth Academy

For: liaisons, account executives, community educators and growth leaders

Many teams are busy but not growing: plenty of visits, not enough relationships, and not enough confidence talking about hospice. The Academy builds the knowledge, conversations and weekly habits that grow referrals.

What's included

  • The three types of decline (cancer; organ failure such as CHF and COPD; dementia and frailty) and what each means for timing

  • How to have the hospice conversation with physicians, hospitals, facilities and families

  • Common family objections to hospice, and how to respond with care

  • Physician and hospital partnership skills

  • Territory planning, A/B/C accounts and the weekly activity that grows referrals

  • Ride-alongs and field coaching

Formats: 1- or 2-day training, new-hire onboarding, ongoing field coaching

Result: +143 admissions following physician and hospital training for one hospice client

The Hospice Conversation

For: clinicians, liaisons, social workers, physician offices and community partners

Most people hear about hospice too late because the conversation is hard to start. This session gives teams the words, the timing and the confidence to start it sooner.

What's included

  • Recognizing when it's time, using the three types of decline

  • Plain language for starting the conversation with patients and families

  • Responding to common fears and objections

  • What patients and families need at the end of life, informed by Paige's work as a Certified End-of-Life Doula

Formats: keynote, 60–90 minute in-service, half-day workshop, education for referral partners

Growth Assessment

For: owners and executives who want a clear picture before investing in growth

Census is flat and it isn't clear why. Is it the market, the team, the referral process, or all three? The Growth Assessment answers that question in 30 days.

What's included

  • Market analysis by county and account

  • Referral source review: who refers, who doesn't, and where you have little or no share

  • 12–24 month review of referrals, admissions, conversion and length of stay

  • Assessment of each rep and leader

  • Deliverable: a written Growth Game Plan with targets, territories, account plans and 90-day goals

Format: 30 days, remote plus an on-site visit. Often the first step into a longer partnership.

Fractional Growth Leadership

For: organizations that need senior growth leadership without a full-time hire

Paige steps in as your growth leader: coaching the team, building the system and holding everyone to it, until your own team can run it.

What's included

  • Weekly 1:1s with each rep and a weekly growth meeting

  • Monthly on-site visits and ride-alongs

  • Activity tracking, account plans and monthly progress reports

  • Hiring and onboarding support for new reps

  • Executive reporting for owners and boards

Format: 3- to 6-month engagements with a 90-day review

Result: +28% in non-hospital business in one quarter for a hospice client, with improved length of stay
